Many Busy People at Cayuta Sun
Many thanks to all the people who have been helping prepare the Cayuta Sun site for Green Fest. They have cleared trails and campsites and are building a beautiful compost toilet. Steve Gabriel and Niall Fahmy are shown below.

I've done some research and found that the benefits of composting toilets are nullified by NY State law that says you must have them emptied by a licensed septic cleaner and taken to a dump. Otherwise it must be mixed with a certain amount of dirt (a large quantity, but I don't recall the exact amount) and kept distant from any food-producing fields.
Have you found a way around that?
